Samsung problems we fix

  • Cracked or shattered screens — from a hairline crack in the corner to glass you can feel with your thumb.
  • Green or pink bands, lines, or black spots spreading across the display after a drop.
  • Touch that ignores part of the screen, or a phone that taps things on its own.
  • Batteries that drain fast, shut the phone off at 30%, or have started to swell and lift the screen.
  • Charging ports that are loose, slow, or only charge if you hold the cable a certain way — often just lint, which is a cheaper fix.
  • Shattered back glass on the S and Note series.
  • Blurry, foggy or cracked camera lenses.
  • Water and liquid damage — we open it, clean the board, and tell you honestly what’s salvageable before you spend a dollar.
  • Phones stuck on the Samsung logo, boot-looping, or misbehaving after an update.
  • Galaxy Tab screens, batteries and charging ports.

Don’t see your model? Galaxy Tab screens, batteries and charging ports are quoted by model because the parts vary so much — call or text us your model number and we’ll price it the same day.

Standard screen or premium OLED — which one should you pick?

Premium OLED is the same kind of panel Samsung put in the phone at the factory: true blacks, full brightness outdoors, and everything behaves the way it did on day one. It’s what we’d choose for a newer phone you plan to keep.

Standard LCD is a quality aftermarket panel that costs meaningfully less. Colors and maximum brightness aren’t identical to factory, and on models with an in-screen fingerprint reader an LCD swap usually means that fingerprint reader stops working. It’s a sensible choice on an older Galaxy, a backup phone, or a device you’re not planning to keep much longer.

We’ll tell you plainly which one we’d put in your phone and what you give up either way — before you agree to anything. Some models are only made in one type, and we’ll say so.

How it works

  1. Bring it in — no appointment needed. We’re a walk-in shop on Lexington St in Manor. Can’t make it in? Call or text and we’ll talk it through first.
  2. Free diagnostic, then a real number. We find out what’s actually wrong and quote you the exact price. If we can’t fix it, you don’t pay — that’s the whole promise.
  3. Most repairs are done the same day. A lot of Galaxy screen and battery jobs are finished while you wait. If a part has to come in, we tell you the day and call you when it lands.

Serving Manor and the greater Austin area

We’re at 209 Lexington St in Manor, an easy drive from most of the eastern Austin metro. Customers come to us from Pflugerville, Round Rock, Elgin and East Austin, usually because the wait here is shorter than the wait at a mall kiosk.

Fixing something other than a Galaxy? We also handle phone screen repair for iPhone and Pixel, battery replacement, computers and laptops, and game consoles.

Common questions

How long does a Samsung screen repair take?

Most Galaxy screen replacements are done the same day, and many while you wait — usually 45 to 90 minutes once we start. Older or less common models sometimes need a part ordered in; if that’s the case we’ll tell you which day it lands and call you the moment it does.

Do you use genuine Samsung parts?

We stock both premium OLED panels that match the original factory display and quality aftermarket LCD panels that cost less. We tell you exactly which one is going into your phone and what the trade-off is before you agree to anything — no surprises when you pick it up.

Will a screen repair erase my photos or apps?

No. Screen, battery, charging port and back glass repairs don’t touch your storage at all. We still recommend backing up before any repair, simply because it’s a good habit with any device that’s already damaged.

My Galaxy is cracked but it still works. Is it worth fixing now?

Usually yes, and sooner is cheaper than later. A cracked panel lets dust and moisture reach the layer underneath, and a small crack often turns into dead touch zones or a spreading black blot within a few weeks. The repair costs the same today as it will next month — right up until the display fails completely and you lose the use of the phone.

Do you repair Galaxy tablets?

Yes — Galaxy Tab screens, batteries and charging ports. Tablet parts vary a lot between models, so we quote those individually. Text or call us your model number and we’ll get you a price the same day.

My phone charges slowly or only at a certain angle. Is the port broken?

Often it isn’t. Pocket lint compacts into the bottom of a USB-C port and stops the cable seating fully, and a $65 deep clean fixes it. We check that first during the free diagnostic — if cleaning solves it, we’re not going to sell you a port replacement you don’t need.

Do I need an appointment?

No. We’re a walk-in shop at 209 Lexington St in Manor, open Monday through Friday 10am–7pm and Saturday 10am–5pm, closed Sunday. Diagnostics are free, and if we can’t fix it there’s no charge.

What happens if you can’t fix it?

Then you don’t pay. The free diagnostic covers the time we spend working out what’s wrong, and you’re only ever charged for a repair that actually works. If we think a repair isn’t worth the money for your particular phone, we’ll tell you that too.
